A good solution for a tight (temporary) housing market: holiday and recreation parks. For several years, we have had various houses in various holiday and recreational parks throughout the Netherlands and Belgium. We make these houses available for rent to companies that want to house labour migrants. These houses meet the standards of the SNF.
At IDHS we have several Labour Hotels. These hotels are modular housing and studio complexes consisting of separate compartments. The advantage of this is that they can be constructed quickly and at various locations, such as locations close to industrial estates. In a Labour Hotel, a desired number of modular studios can be realised. These are equipped with several bedrooms and their own living room, bathroom and kitchen. In addition, they are fully furnished!
In addition to the studios, our Labour Hotels have communal areas such as a launderette, relaxation area and gym. This form of semi-permanent housing requires a temporary reallocation. This can be realised within six to nine months.

At IDHS we also focus on offering student rooms. We not only look at the rooms themselves but also at all related matters. Our aim is to minimise the burden of finding and living in suitable accommodation for the student (and his/her parents). We are thus a reliable partner for domestic and foreign students and act, among other things, as a central contact point. In this way, we strive to make your stay in the respective student city as pleasant as possible.
When speed is of the essence, for example, due to an economic boom or seasonal work, with acute housing needs, Mobile Homes are a suitable solution. The advantage of this is that they can be placed and moved quickly. In addition, Mobile Homes can often be put to use within three to six months.
Our Mobile Homes are spacious and have an authentic, modern look. In addition, they are fully furnished and have a garden. Moreover, they are very energy-efficient. Mobile Homes can be placed flexibly, and for larger numbers/parks, it is possible to place a management unit for 24/7 management and service.

Transforming or converting existing office buildings, nursing homes, monasteries and the like is an attractive option when it comes to creating new housing. Transforming these buildings into comfortable housing gives them a valuable purpose. This preserves them and gives them a new purpose. At IDHS we restore and transform existing buildings into housing. This prevents empty buildings and improves the business climate.
Advantages of housing transformation
Modular construction is a technique in which modules are linked together to realize a building. With modular construction, large parts of the housing (modules) are manufactured in the factory. This means that the modules are delivered ready to use. Production and foundation work can be performed simultaneously, enabling projects to be completed 50% to 60% faster than traditional on-site construction.
Natural raw materials are used in the production of the modules and no heavy chemicals or toxic materials are used. In addition, the construction has no influence on soil, air and water. This makes modular construction a safe and green alternative to traditional construction.
